Jim Honzik of Deerbrook shot this year's first hole-in one at Maplewood on May 5th, 2009 on the 118 yard hole #3. This is Jim's 3rd ace.

The beautiful weather Saturday afternoon was irresistible to anxious golfers. Maplewood opened for a few hours Saturday in response to many phone calls during the week. Frozen ponds eliminated the usual water hazards, but scattered snow piles added a new challenge. The course will be open any time the weather is conducive to golf. Call 484-GOLF for information.
